Centerless Bowl Vibratory

Normally, round bowl vibratory finishing machines have what is named a “center tube”. This structure is a key part of the machine, housing the drive mechanism, as well as helping to direct the media and part load in the machine while it is in process.

”Centerless” bowl machines are built with the drive machinist either lower that the floor of the finishing chamber, or with the drive mechanism external to the process chamber.

These machines can be configured with either an exchangeable center to process circular components such as Aero Engine components, or with a fixture that can fixate the workpiece directly to the vibratory machine.

Applications where workpieces are fixtured for orientation to the media path, and also to prove that the workpieces from touching each other. Parts with negative  cavity surfaces such as airfoils can be processed with extraordinary results.
